Afraid!
It has been a long time since the last time I had a personal blog that's open to public. You know, I'm like fuckin' popular and I have to have privacy and all that shit. Haha, I kid. I just find it weird that I've readers from different parts of the world where I've no friends. That, or my traffic feed's just acting up... Laki lang ng ulo ko eh, no?

Reviving The Tradition That Is Pity Lunch
Had lunch with Team Dentsu after more than a month or two, I guess. I missed them so! We weren't complete [we were less than half actually], but we it was fun, nonetheless. What's good about this group is that we never ever run out of things to talk about! We can literally sit and talk for hours, and I'm sure, it still wouldn't be enough.

Lazy Wednesday
Not that I'm complaining, but it was really a lazy Wednesday for most of the Creatives. This photograph is proof. This is Dan, our Art Director. As you can see, he seems to be engrossed in his work. Nah, I think he's watching some lame ass movie while waiting for 6pm.

Creatives + Accounts Jamming
For some weird reason, everyone didn't have much work to do today. By 5pm, we were already searching the net for random guitar chords for the boys to play and the girls to sing. We stayed in the veranda for a good three hours -- singing and humming songs like Crazy For You, Huling El Bimbo, Billionaire and of course, Baby. Justin Bieber's Baby.

The Anna Talens Look
Hi friends, meet Gian, one of our AEs! This guy is one of the funniest people you'll ever meet -- I mean, group lunches won't be complete and as fun without him, I'm serious. Today, he wore tight pants, a loose polo and a pair of shoes that can pass as boots, and guess what he told me? Oh, that he was sporting the "Anna Talens" look. I didn't know I had a look?! Haha I was flattered and amused at the same time!

Sepia Seth!
Slept over at Pasig, just because. Got to play and camwhore with Seth before I slept. Easy, breezy Sunday, I like!

Productive Saturday!
After Saturday OT, which I thought ended pretty well, I went straight to Megamall to meet my sister. Decided to pay my overdue Globe bill as well! So glad that they waived the extra browsing charges they mistakenly included in my bill! Walked out of Globe somehow poor, but at least I don't owe 'em anything anymore. Haha.

Typo Police
Took a break and accompanied Migs to Starbucks one afternoon. Didn't buy coffee, so what I did was scanned through the latest print ads in the newspaper. One that caught my eye was the Lexus Hybrid ad that looks awfully a lot like the Vespa [award-winning!] series. But what was worth a click from my phone camera was this ad by Philam Life that used iPods instead of iPod devices. Haha. Okay, it's not THAT big of a deal, but it's still wrong!

Forever Favorite!!!!
After having my hair cut [yes, my second time in a span of five days, so if the next time you see me, I'm already bald, don't be too surprised], mom, Bea and I headed to Pancake House, after much pleading from me. As usual, I had the 2-piece Pan Chicken. Mind you, I don't eat this with gravy. I eat their chicken with vinegar mixed with hot sauce and salt... Sounds weird, eh? But go try it, I swear, it's to die for!

Insta-Visits Always Make Me Happy!
Tuesday was too hectic a day for me. I had to push myself to write scripts while preparing, in my mind, for two big back-to-back presentations in the afternoon. So an insta-visit from Don was definitely a welcome surprise. I mean, it's doubtlessly healthy to take a breather once in a while, right? :-D

All The Single Ladies!
Hung out with the girls to celebrate _____ Awareness Day! And mind you, that blank there doesn't mean single... It's actually much more complicated than that. Hahaha! Fun, fun night! Met new friends and left Plantation a little tipsy, but definitely not drunk -- just how night outs should be!

My Dad, His Mom and His Dad
We decided to spend our Sunday morning visiting my dad's parents in Loyola Memorial Park. I never met them actually, but I feel like I know them really well, based on what my dad tells me. I really wish that I got the chance to spend time with them though, but what can I do? I'm just thankful that they raised their son well... And if I'll be lucky enough and be given a chance to talk to them, I'll tell them that I'll forever be grateful for somehow "creating" a dad like mine :-)

Semi-short Hair
If there's one thing I'm going to explicitly admit, it's that I really really regret having my hair digital permed last December. For one, it really didn't stay as curly as it should be. I may be at fault as well, 'cause I probably didn't know how to fix it? And well, that brings me to my second point... It is so freakin' hard to maintain! It takes up like 10 minutes [sometimes even more!] of my morning routine, which, if I may add, is an ample amount of time of extra sleep. Ugh. And lastly, the perm greatly damaged my hair. It left me with frizzy, dry tresses. So on one lazy Saturday afternoon, I decided to get some hair treatment, in the hopes that it might kinda survive. I asked the stylist to just "cut all the damaged hair," and guess what? I ended up going out of the salon with half of the length of my hair chopped of. And there you have it... That my friends, is the extent of the mistake that is digital perm.

Tatum and the boys
Ninang, fondly called Tatum by everyone except me, has a photo template that originated with these three guys. You see, it all started in Pagudpud, when Ninang asked these guys to pose with her since they were all wearing white. She eventually made the said photo her profile picture. Since then, every time she goes out, she never fails to have her photo taken with any three guys. It kinda became a tradition of some sort. Haha. So last Friday, the Pagudpud Plus Plus were again complete, and we reminisced the first "template photo" with the original boys!

My Amnesia Girl
Finally got to watch My Amnesia Girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And oh my God it really is a good movie. I kinda thought the end part was a little too exaggerated, but then the good parts compensated it. Started watching this afternoon at work and finished it when I got home. I cried buckets, I swear. I know I usually say that I hate cheese and that love and all that shit makes me sick... But movies like this... Ugh. Haha!

iPod Rape!
My afternoon yo break was spent searching for the perfect music peg that I can use to back my jingle. Haha. I've to tell you, it sounds easy, but it really isn't. The song should be as close to how I really want my jingle to be, or else, the one who'll produce it might get confused and end up making things wrong. Who said copywriters only write? Writing is just half the battle, I tell you!

Insta-OT, Insta-Concert
When working with a team like mine, sometimes, working doesn't even feel like working! I mean, of course we have to meet deadlines and deliver -- but still, these guys make it easy. There are times that someone will just burst into a song and voila -- we're having a mini-concert of our own. Haha, gotta love these boys!
*Photo is a screenshot of a video I took. It's on Facebook! So if you're my friend, go check it out! :-D

Monday Funday
After work, I headed to the Loft at the Enterprise to grab a few drinks with my ex-officemates. I asked Mapaul to join us, Tatum, Migs and Grace followed, and soon after, even some of Mapaul's officemates were there as well. Fun though short. I really love spontaneous and chance meet-ups!

Hello, it's February!
I cannot believe I made it this far! Heehee... So I guess I'm more than what I give myself credit for. This month, I'll try to take better photos and write much more interesting stories. I'm so, so lazy but since I already started this, I might as well put in some more effort. Although sometimes I think, what more is there to talk about, when I'm almost always at work? But we'll see!

Breakfast of Champions
Woke up at 3pm today and as usual, there wasn't any food on the table anymore. Decided to open a bag of Ruffles Cheddar & Sour Cream instead of asking my maid to cook for me because 1.) Cooking takes a long time and 2.) This tastes better than most food our maid prepares for us.

Meiday! Meiday!
It was my first time to attend Meiday [hell, it was even my first time in Cubao X!] and I must say, the travel, and my lame attempt in trying to pull-off the "full of effort effortless look" was oh-so-worth it! And it's not just because I was a big fan girl and I was drooling over this really cute bassist, but of course it's because I got to spend the night with good friends, old and new.

Me Time
I know this might sound like I give out too much personal information but this is my blog so fuck off. Hahahaha. So yeah, this is where I spent my Friday night... Before having dinner with my favorite girls. :-D

Good Merienda Food
Tuesday came with some unexpected bad news. To add to that, a lot of work came in, so almost everyone was ngarag (for lack of a better word) the whole day. Good thing bad days like these are made better by good food. This kutsinta plate from Mr. Merienda guy made me loosen up and relax... I mean, even if I didn't take a 20-minute merienda break, I'd still go on OT, so what's the difference? :-D
